Street Theatre Artists, Jean Phillipe and Loic are from France and presented their comic street play as a part of the “The Very Good Festival” that started today in joint association of Movindia and Banyan Roots.

Around 38 such artists from France and Morocco will perform in various parts of city, while main event will be held at Fatehsagar on 28th February.

After an hour long comic act cruising from Badi Haveli till Gangaur Ghat, other members of the group Albedo played their act at University Road in the form of clowns and muppets.

Like Colbok and Albedo other groups are also going to participate in this first of its kind event in Udaipur.

Antoinne, founder of Movinda said, “We want to introduce Udaipurites with International street theatre artists and also intend to initiate meeting of local artists with the visiting foreign artists, participating in The Very Good Festival.”

“While performing on the street, the artists also interacted with masses; we chose crowded areas to get more people to know about this particular art and its various forms”, says Antoinne.

Barbara, a member of Colbok group informed that along with such street performances, the group is also providing training to the interested ones at Badi Haveli in a workshop.
