Preparation of Raksha Bandhan festival is on its verge of excitement, in spite of continuous low-medium rain in the city, the zeal of shoppers is unaffected. From small kiosks selling rakhis to sweet shops, everywhere there is a load of rush on eve of festival.

Hundreds of people are travelling to meet their siblings on the day of Raksha Bandhan which has its special significance in the relation of sisters and brothers.

A week long buzz in the town for the upcoming festival induces large number of villagers to the city for shopping.

NO FARE for Females in Roadways Buses

Journey in state’s Roadways buses, will be free of cost for women passengers from tonight after 12 till next 24 hours.

The order came on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan- the festival dedicated to sisters and brothers; this special arrangement is to facilitate all women commuter as a festive perk.

Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation has ordered their officials to not-to-charge any fare from female passengers, the special discount starting from tonight at 12 and will continue till Saturday 12AM.

The zonal manager of Udaipur agar Hemant Shrimali has said that we have received these orders today; all females will be comprised of this special festive offer.
