Udaipur is gradually making its mark as a MICE destination of choice. After a series of social, economic and political events, Udaipur is ready to host a 2 day Health Summit this month. Top Health profressionals from across India and abroad will attend the 6th Cardiac Summity 2023, which is going to be held in Udaipur on 18-19 November 2023. The theme of the event will be *"Revealing Innovations in Cardiology for a Healthier Heart"*.
The event is being organized by Heart and Rhythm Society will comprise of several knowledge sessions, discussion forums, workshops, outdoor activities, etc during the course of two days. The program is supported by API (Association of Physicians) Udaipur, Paras Health and IMA Udaipur.
Dr Amit Khandelwal, organizing Chairman of the event said, _“This is the 6th summit we are hosting in Udaipur, and around 100 top cardiologists and more than 450 physicians across the globe are going to attend it. The summit will add substantial value to the field of medicine, especially cardiology and will showcase how new world technologies and innovations are making it more interesting".
Dr Khandelwal also informed that the summit will feature participation from many well known Doctors, including world renowned cardiologist Dr (Prof.) David Slim from Singapore; Dr (Prof.) V.K Bahl, Dr (Prof) Anil Dhall, Dr Rajeev Agarwal, Dr. Avinash Verma, Dr. (Col) Ajay Joshi and Dr Peeyush Jain from Delhi; Dr Nikhil Parchure,Dr. Haresh Mehta and Dr Brajesh Kumar from Mumbai; Dr Sanjeev Gupta, Dr Ram Chitiangiya and Dr (Prof) Deepesh Agarwal from Jaipur; Dr Prashant Adwani from Raipur; Dr Bharat Rawat from Indore; Dr Saket Goyal from Kota; Dr Shomu Bohra from Vadodra; Dr Amit Khandelwal, Dr S.K Kaushik, Dr Kapil Bhargava, Dr Mukesh Sharma, Dr Jay Chordia from Udaipur and Dr (Prof) Rohit Mathur from Jodhpur among others.
The two day summit will be held at Bamboo Saa Resort & Spa, which is situated on the foothills of the Monsoon Palace at Sajjangarh. The first day of the Summit will begin with a workshop in the morning hours, followed by *ECG Quiz*, a *Symposium on Heart Failure*, a talk on *Preventive Cardiology*, followed by Inauguration and Felicitation ceremony in evening.
While day one will be technical in nature, the second day will be more inclusive for people who do not belong to the medical fraternity. A Health Awareness Program, titled _"Dil Ki Baat...Dil Se"_ is scheduled at Fatehsagar Lake on Day 2, i.e. 19 Nov. The program will feature a Zumba session followed by a session on CPR to teach non medical practioners how life saving CPR is done. Well known Cardiologist and motivational speaker Dr Bharat Rawat, TedEx speaker and Cardiologist Dr Saket Goyal and Dr Amit Khandelwal will share health awareness tips to the participants.
Later on 19 November, there are several programs including a session on Diabetes and ASCVD, a symposium and a book launch. The event will be continued till late afternoon with several case presentations, discussions and conclude with Valedictory function and closing remarks.
