Dengue Cases in Udaipur Break Five-Year Record
Health Department Holds Review Meeting
The number of dengue patients in the district has reached 646, breaking a five-year record. The surge in cases has caused concern among health authorities.
Due to the government holidays on October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti) and October 3 (Navratri commencement), fewer tests were conducted. As a result, only one new dengue case was reported. The number of patients in Saturday's test reports was also low, suggesting that dengue cases might now be on the decline after reaching their peak.
In response to the situation, the Health Department held a review meeting to discuss seasonal diseases. The meeting focused on controlling these diseases, leaving aside routine work like sterilization and vaccination.
