The Burn Ward at MB Hospital, RNT Medical College, has been upgraded. This update aims to improve patient care during emergencies, especially during Diwali.

A team of surgeons will now be on duty 24 hours a day. The ward currently has 20 beds, with about 12 beds typically occupied. Hospital authorities have assured that beds will be added if necessary.

During Diwali, the hospital often receives cases of children suffering eye injuries from sparklers. To address this, for the first time, an eye specialist has been assigned to be on duty for emergency cases involving eye injuries.
