Swine flu claims more lives-17 more identified

Swine flu cases have gone out of control.

 

Swine flu cases have gone out of control. It has claimed 2 more lives and 17 more have been identified with swine flu.

2 women lost their lives under the effect of swine flu, one of which was pregnant. 24 year old lady Mangla from Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh and 59 year old Sushila of Rajsamand were in ICU in MB hospital. Found positive with swine flu, these 2 ladies could not survive. Dr. Vinay Joshi informed that Sushila was also suffering from diabetes.

Dr. Joshi said that the two patients were late in reaching hospital for treatment. The flu had already taken over disastrously and the 2 women could not be saved. Swine flu is on the rise; as a result 17 more cases have been identified.  In the last 41 days, 15 people have already lost their lives because of swine flu.

9 patients with swine flu are in ICU of swine flu ward with ventilator. Only one bed in this ward is vacant and the department is now worried. 6 patients are serious.  Others patients are also undergoing treatment.

Out of the 17 patients positive with swine flu, 8 are from Udaipur and 4 each from Chittor and Pratapgarh. 1 patient is from Rajsamand. Patients are from Mavli, Chandpole area, Savina, Girwa, Sector 13, Gogunda and Jhadol.
