CPS celebrates Basant Panchami
With the motive to generate interest and to impart knowledge about celebrating Indian customs and traditions, Basant Panchami was celebrated in Central Public School with great zeal and enthusiasm today. It was presided over by the director of the school.
On the day, all the students and staff members came in yellow dress. The school building was decorated with yellow ribbons, balloons, flowers and streamers.
The program started with Saraswati Puja and Arti. Students who had worn the most number of yellow articles were awarded.
There were a few speeches by the teachers and students which stressed the need of celebrating Indian customs and traditions and made a mark on the impressionable minds of the children.
