With schools shut due to the pandemic, celebrations have shifted online, with all kinds of events — ranging from cultural performances to debates — being planned digitally. On 75th Independence Day Seedling Modern Public School Udaipur ensured that the fervour of patriotism lives on.

Students of Seedling Modern Public School & Seedling The World School, held a beautiful session by organizing a special online assembly. Both junior and senior sections recorded the entire function under the guidance of the teachers in the safety of their homes. The special array of events like craft making by Class 1 & 2 students, poem recitation, slogan speaking, poster making and fancy dress competition were organized digitally wherein power point presentation with colorful slides conveyed the patriotism and love of these children towards their country.

Students submitted photographs and videos of their entries in advance and exhibited their enthusiasm in the Independence Day Album, which was a special designed form of art.

In a similar fashion, senior students from class 7-10 also showcased their talent by contributing their talent and efforts in rangoli designs, patriotic song, dance, speeches through the medium of slides. “The synchronised display by students despite being in different homes was noteworthy”, Vice Principal, Ms. Shikha revealed. She also said, “Covid-19 has shut schools indefinitely and added a twist to the 75th Independence Day celebrations. So, pandemic-induced lockdown or not, Independence Day will be celebrated, the ‘new normal’ way.”
