Raksha Bandhan celebrated at Parents Pride

Parent’s Pride unit of Central Academy School on the eve of Raksha Bandhan celebrated celebrated the festival in school. On this occasion the girls of various classes tied Rakhis to boys and applied Tilak on their forehead. The boys, in turn, offered sweets to the girls.
On this occasion the school administration also organised a Hindi Recitation competition. Kids ecited poems that were based on different themes including Save the Girl Child, Patriotism and the importance of green vegetables for children.
Concluding the program, Prinicipal Maansi Tikku explained the importance of Raksha Bandhan to the children and also gave her blessings to all of them.
