Soumya Sharma hopes to set record at National Swimming Competition

Soumya Sharma, a state level gold medalist in swimming, is now set to better her own record at the National Level Swimming competition at Rajkot, Gujarat.

 

Soumya Sharma, a state level gold medalist in swimming, is now set to better her own record at the National Level Swimming competition at Rajkot, Gujarat.

The competition is being organized by the School Games Federation of India and is billed as one of the most competitive and prestigious events, involving competitors from all over the country.

The competition got underway at Rajkot on February 17 and will continue for five days, promising a rich flair of talents by the budding aspirants.

A sixth standard student of Delhi Public School, Udaipur, Soumya is participating in 50 meter butterfly and 4×100 meter free style relay at the five-day event.

At a very tender age, Soumya bought accolades to the city by winning various medals at state & district level competitions & is now set to mark high records at National Level Competition.

She developed a passion for swimming from an early age. Her coach, family members and numerous well-wishers hope for her success & wish her the best for future prospects.
