July 26, 2025 - Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal was a blockbuster film of 2023. Even though it created some controversies, the makers earned huge profits from the movie. At the time of its release, the team also announced that a sequel would be made.

With the success of Animal, it was confirmed that Sandeep Reddy Vanga would bring the sequel Animal Park, where Ranbir Kapoor will play a double role. Fans have been waiting for the sequel for almost two years.

Recently, Bobby Deol, who played the villain in Animal, was seen out in Mumbai with his son to watch a movie. He also posed for the paparazzi. During this, someone asked him, "When is Animal 2 coming?" To this, Bobby, who played Abrar in Animal, replied, "I don’t know." 

There has been no official update about Animal 2 for a long time. Right now, Ranbir is busy shooting for Ramayan, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. On the other hand, director Vanga has started shooting his new film Spirit with Prabhas and Tripti Dimri. As for Bobby, his character ended in the first part of Animal. So, he is not expected to be in the sequel.

Bobby is currently working in a South Indian film called Hari Hara Veera Mallu with Pawan Kalyan. He is playing the role of Aurangzeb in the film.

Animal was released in 2023 and became a blockbuster. The film featured Ranbir, Bobby, Anil Kapoor, Tripti Dimri and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles. The movie earned around Rs 600 crore.
