3 Laborers Killed by electric shock, 2 injured

3 laborers killed and 2 other injured while repairing a hand pump which got tangled with electric wire while lifting. The incident occurred at Nai village of Udaipur at morning 9:30 am today. All injured were taken to M.B Hospital Udaipur and dead were sent for post mortem immediately. Gopal Singh –A.S.I. of Nai village Thana brought dead bodies to Udaipur. In the morning hours team of 5 people, headed for repairing the hand pump in their village. None of them had any clue about the upcoming disaster. They dug deep to take out the whole hand pump machine but while pulling the machine out, they tried to lift it high and unfortunately it touched the electric wire and the current transmitted into machine and became the reason of death for 3 people. 2 people are reportedly injured. The names of the deceased are Durgashankar (30), Kowa Gometi (20) and Kucha (18). 2 injured people included Dharma (27 years). Another laborer is in critical condition and is admitted in I.C.U. of M.B. Hospital.
