4-Member team visits Udaipur to assess preparations for the G-20 Sherpa Agenda meeting in early December

 

A 4-member team of experts arrived at Udaipur on Friday 4 November, in order to assess the preparations for the upcoming G-20 Sherpa Agenda meeting scheduled to be held at Udaipur from 5-7 December.

The team of Director Genral Kumar Tuhin,Consultant Shriti Ray and Program Director Mahinder Sehgal met the Deputy Director Tourism Department, Udaipur, Shikha Saxena and took stock of the preparations of the cultural program to be organised during the Summit at the Manak Chowk of City Palace and Jag Mandir. They had a discussion about the lighting, decoration, etc and also diccussed the names and other information of the artists that will be performing in the cultural program. They also visited the Manak Chowk and Jag Mandir to seeing the arrangements and also given suggestions and instructions.

The 2 day G-20 Sherpa Meeting will be held at the Darbaar Hall of the City Palace of Udaipur. Senior Government Delegates and politicians from 20 countries will take part in the Sherpa Agenda Meet. Notably India will preside the G-20 Summit in the coming year and the kick off meeting, the G-20 Sherpa Agenda meet is being held at Udaipur.
