PM Narendra Modi discusses the crisis that are taking place in the country

PM asserts that the Global South can shape the emerging order

Finding simple, scalable, and sustainable solutions that can change India's communities and economy is much needed...

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised that the globe is in a state of crisis by telling leaders of developing nations that "your voice is India's voice" and that "your priorities are India's priorities." Another challenging year, however, was marked by war, conflict, terrorism, and geopolitical tensions; rising food, fertiliser, and fuel costs; natural calamities brought by by climate change; and the Covid pandemic's long-lasting economic effects.

When speaking to leaders at the Voice of the Global South Summit, the Prime Minister outlined the challenges. India invited more than 120 nations to the Summit, which comprises the developing and less developed nations of the world. Among those in attendance during the leaders' session were the leaders of Bangladesh, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Guyana, Mozambique, Mongolia, and Senegal.

Respond, Recognize, Respect and Reform should be India's motto

The goal of the summit is for India to make sure that the G-20 Summit, which it will host later this year, would advance the contributions from partner nations at the Voice of Global South Summit discussions. Even the conflict in Ukraine, according to PM Modi, is costing the nation loss. He offered the motto "Respond, Recognize, Respect, and Reform" in this context.

He argued that the international agenda should be inclusive and balanced in order to reflect the priorities of the Global South. Recognize that all global concerns fall within the notion of "Common but Differentiated Responsibilities." Respect for the rule of law, the sovereignty of all countries, and the peaceful settlement of problems. Make international organisations, like the UN, more current by reforming them.

Sustainable Solutions

India is developing in a sustainable direction. The PM stressed how crucial it is for the nation to be sustainable and to use innovative approaches. India's development partnerships span several industries and geographical regions. During the pandemic, India provided medicines and vaccinations to over 100 nations. India has long represented a bigger role for emerging nations in deciding our shared future.

Finding simple, scalable, and sustainable solutions that can change India's communities and economy is urgently needed. With such a strategy, we will be able to overcome tough obstacles like poverty, access to healthcare for all, or developing human potential to fight against the uncertainity.
