Legal Action Taken Against 'Super Polymers Company' for Trademark Violation
The inspection revealed the production of counterfeit packaging materials under the name 'Super Polymers.'
Legal action has been taken against the founder of Super Polymers Company in Udaipur for trademark violation. This action comes as a response to the company's use of a fake name, 'Super Polymers,' which closely resembles the well-established brand 'Polymers Processors' in both name and logo.
For almost 30 years, 'Polymers Processors,' a well-known brand by Polymers Processor Company, has been famous for its top-quality packaging materials. It is widely known across many parts of India. But, some packaging companies are using names similar to 'Polymers Processors' to make and sell their products.
On May 9, 2024, acting on the orders of the Commercial Court in Delhi, a raid was conducted at a relevant factory and warehouse in Udaipur under the supervision of Inspector Namrata Jain and Mr. Vijay Soni, legal representatives from Navkar Associates. The inspection revealed the production of counterfeit packaging materials under the name 'Super Polymers,' along with a significant quantity of raw materials, labels, and packaging items, which were subsequently seized.
It is emphasized that any involvement in the purchase, stocking, sale, marketing, or advertising of packaging material under the name 'Super Polymers' will be a violation of the court order. Legal consequences will follow for those found infringing upon the registered trademark and copyright of 'Polymers Processors.'
