Normalcy and Order in Bhilwara: Two Day Inflammatory Situation Controlled
The textile city of Bhilwara has returned to order after the inflammatory situation that arose on Sunday 25 August, leading to vandalism and arson in certain pockets of the city.
Namit Mehta, the District Collector of Bhilwara and SP, Rajan Dushyant took a comprehensive round of the affected area in Bhilwara late on Tuesday evening to assess the law and order situation. Suitable arrangenents and discussions with the key stake holders ensured the the disturbed pockets return to normalcy once again. The DM and SP took stock of the situation at the Police Control Room and the law and order situation in the affected pockets, which included Badla Chauraha, Tilak Nagar Chauraha, Mangal Pandey Circle, Bhopalpura, Shastri Nagar, Bhimganj, Sri Guest Chauraha, Sanganeri Gate, Sanganer Town, Pathik Nagar, RC Vyas Colony, Nehru Garden, Roadways Bus Stand, Ajmer Chauraha, Circuit House Chauraha, SK Plaza, Pansal Chauraha, Billiya and Pur.
The administration appealed to the residents to maintain peace and order in town and allow the police to work as per their protocol in taking to book the miscreants and take necessary action against them.
