Udaipur, May 7, 2025 – As part of the directives issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), a civil defence mock drill and blackout will be conducted today (Wednesday), May 7, across various districts in the State. Accordingly, Udaipur will observe a 15-minute blackout tonight from 8:45 pm to 9:00 pm.

District Collector Namit Mehta has appealed to the public to actively participate. He urged that as soon as the siren is heard, all citizens should switch off lights and electrical lighting equipment in their homes, as well as vehicle lights, for the full 15-minute duration.
