CM Ashok Gehlot: Rajasthan government's gifts for tribals development
The Budget does not lack in welfare of tribal people
On Saturday, February 18, 2023, CM Ashok Gehlot stated that Rajasthan has become a national model state and is advancing quickly at all stages of development. In its budget, the state government has included a number of significant gifts for the overall development of tribal territories.
Gehlot was addressing the crowd on Saturday during the laying of the cornerstone for the government community health center in Dhariyavad, Pratapgarh district. At the Pratapgarh district, he laid the cornerstone for 10 development projects worth Rs. 59.68 crore and dedicated three development projects totaling Rs. 11.74 core.
The chief minister claimed that there is ample funding for the welfare of indigenous people. Since there is a lot of potential for irrigation projects in the Mewar region, the state government has allocated a significant portion of its budget to this area.

Also, the state government will establish independent medical colleges in Pratapgarh, Jalore and Rajsamand districts.
The CM said that 1 crore NFSA users will receive free rations and free Annapurna food packs each month to help the common man combat inflation. Each family will get a food package of 1 kg of pulses, sugar, spices, and edible oil in addition to 100 units of free electricity every month.
For humanitarian reasons, the Old Pension System (OPS) has been revived. He claimed that the introduction of OPS has given every government employee's family a sense of security. By doing this, the workers' financial support in their latter years will be guaranteed.
