Builder given Notice to Demolish Illegal Construction in 24 hrs

Municipal Corporation has given a notice to a building owner to demolish his illegal construction within 24 hours.  A builder has raised a building in Loha Bazaar (Chamanpura)without the required permission of the Municipal Corporation.  Although the owner was notified nearly a month back, but due to prevailing negligence of co-workers the demolition could not be carried out.

Toukeer Hussain Hitawala was given the notice to demolish illegal floors, raised without permission of local authority.  In a survey done by the Executive Engineer of the Corporation, it was discovered that Toukeer Hussain had raised two floors and a lift section without permission.

Sources informed that S.N Acharaya, Ex- Commissioner, UMC had gavethe notice to the concerned party, which however was neglected by the officials of UMC.  The orderhas been re-issued with immediate effect by the Mayor for appropriate action.

According to Rajni Dangi, Mayor, UMC, on multiple occasions I have ordered the Commissioner to take strict action, but due to some political pressure and approach, he failed to do so.
