Udaipur registered the first death due to COVID-19 in 2023 on 27 April.

The count of Active COVID cases in Udaipur has reached 246, of which 5 people are admitted in hospital. The hospital release information about one death in Udaipur today evening, the deceased being a minor. The child who succumbed to COVID today, hailed from Modhi village in Vallabhnagar. This takes the total count of COVID deaths in Udaipur to 778, since April 2020.

The number of positive cases reported on 27 April was 51. 40 positive cases have been found in the urban area.  19 new cases of which 1 is a Corona Warrior have been found. 21 positive patients are closse contacts of previously infected persons. One positive case has been found in the rural belt of Udaipur.
