The Forest Department is organizing eco-tour to Bheel Beri Waterfall

Rajasthan's highest waterfall...

In a bid to promote eco-tourism and conservation efforts, the Forest Department is set to conduct a guided tour to Bheel Beri Falls, the highest waterfall in Rajasthan. Nestled within the scenic Aravalli Range, the majestic waterfall stands tall at an impressive height of 182 feet. The tour is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 6, 2023.

Chief Conservator of Forests Wildlife, Udaipur, RK Jain, expressed excitement about the upcoming tour, highlighting that Bheel Beri Falls is a hidden gem surrounded by dense forests. The pristine eco-destination is located on the border line of Rajsamand and Pali districts and forms an integral part of the Todgarh Raoli Wildlife Sanctuary. Reaching this natural wonder is an adventure in itself, as visitors will embark on a thrilling 4 km long nature trail safari from Kamlighat-Sojat road, approximately 8 km away from Kamlighat on NH 8.

The Bheel Beri site comes to life during the monsoons, offering a breathtaking spectacle of cascading water. Notably, the region around the waterfall houses the endangered Long Billed Vulture, making it a site of immense ecological significance. Eager participants can avail of camping facilities with tents or opt for accommodation in two rooms provided at the site. The area is teeming with biodiversity, boasting dense forests rich in medicinal plants. The sanctuary is home to various wildlife species such as Sloth Bears, Panthers, Wild Boars, Four-Horned Antelopes, Hyenas, Ruddy Mongooses, Sambars, Gray Jungle Fowls, and Red Spurfowls, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers.

The Bheel Beri eco-tour promises an unforgettable experience, where visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and witness Rajasthan's highest waterfall in all its splendor. Join the Forest Department's initiative in preserving this natural wonder and exploring the wonders of Rajasthan's wilderness.
