In a recent tour led by District Collector Arvind Poswal and MLA Tarachand Jain, along with other public representatives and officials, significant encroachments were identified along the Ayad River. The inspection aimed to monitor the progress of beautification efforts and address encroachments in the riverbed.

During the tour, officials discovered encroachments spanning approximately 30-40 feet in the riverbed. Immediate instructions were issued to remove encroachments falling within the demarcated boundaries.

The team, including MLA Jain, District Collector Arvind Poswal, Municipal Commissioner Ramprakash, SDM Girwa Riya Dabi, and CEO Smart City Krishnapal Singh Chauhan, along with officials, visited the Ayad bridge near Lakecity Mall. They evaluated ongoing works at Sevashram corner and provided necessary directives.

Further investigation revealed a complex near Subhash Nagar bridge encroaching approximately 20 feet into the riverbed. The owner was found to be constructing a wall towards the Ayad River, directly overlapping with previous markings.
