A forthcoming development in the city involves the construction of a brand-new elevated road, connecting the Collector's Bungalow to the City Railway Station. This infrastructure project comes with an anticipated cost of Rs 250 crore. The proposed road is designed to run parallel to the current route, passing through significant landmarks such as the Collector's Bungalow, Court Square, Delhi Gate, Surajpol, Udiyapol and ultimately leading to the City Railway Station.

This initiative aims to enhance transportation connectivity and streamline traffic movement along this prominent route. The introduction of an elevated road is expected to provide a more efficient and convenient travel experience for commuters navigating through these key locations.

In response to the challenges posed by encroachments, the Municipal Corporation has recently adopted a stringent approach to address this issue. This reflects a commitment to maintaining the integrity of public spaces and ensuring that the upcoming infrastructure projects proceed smoothly without hindrances.

Furthermore, there are optimistic expectations regarding the resolution of the bottleneck problem on Durga Nursery Road within the current year. This potential development holds the promise of alleviating congestion and enhancing the overall flow of traffic in the specified area.
