Farmer crushed to death by Land Mafia at Rajsamand

Rajsamand,14.3.23- More than 1500 villagers belonging to Amet village of Rajsamand district staged a road blocked after a 32 year old farmer was crushed to death by the a group of people who are said to be involved in illegal mining of Bajari.
The incident occurred on Monday when the victim Manish Paliwal a resident of Amet went to the backyard of his house to feed his cattle and spotted few men digging Bajari illegally near his house.
It was when Manish resisted against them to stop the illegal diggiing or extraction of the Bajri they first attacked him and later crushed him with a tractor.
Aggrieved over the incident a huge number of villagers from Amet and the nearby areas gathered on the spot and staged a protest, they called slogans against the administration and also refused to conduct the postmodern until the accused will be arrested.The protestors also burnt tyres and shut down their shops after the event. They demanded strict action against the accused and also demanded government job and compensation for the wife of the deceased man.Responding on the incident District Collector Rajsamand, Sp Sudhir Joshi and other administrative officials rushed to the scene to control the situation.
Sp Rajsamand Sudhir Joshi told that eventually the postmortem of the dead body was conducted after the relatives of the deceased man was assured for getting government job for his wife, compensation and quick arrest of the accused and police has identified two of the accused Papu Singh and Mohan Singh and had already detained Mohan Singh so far while the search for Pappu is still on.
The relatives of the accused informed crust the slain farmer Manish had also informed the administration earlier also about the illegal mining of Bajri (sand gravels) but no action was taken.
