Rajasthan: Foreign Language Training for Youth

Inculsion of language training would contribute to the state's long-term development
 

Udaipur, December 13,2024 - During the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the central government would provide support to Rajasthan's initiative aimed at offering foreign language training to the state's youth.

He stressed that proficiency in foreign languages is a vital skill for young people, as it opens doors to global opportunities, enhancing their competitiveness in an increasingly interconnected world.

Pradhan emphasized that Rajasthan has a rich tradition of progressive thinking, positioning itself as a key player in the 21st century's knowledge-based economy. He noted that the future of economic growth would rely heavily on knowledge, innovation, and skill development, which will be central to driving both investment and progress. Reflecting on the positive investment trends witnessed at this year’s summit, Pradhan expressed optimism that such initiatives, including language training, would contribute to the state's long-term development by preparing its youth for a rapidly evolving global workforce.
