In a significant meeting chaired by President Manohar Chaudhary, the Municipal Corporation Garage Committee addressed key issues and outlined future initiatives for the city. The gathering included Deputy Mayor Paras Singhvi, Administrative Engineer (Mechanical) Lakhnlal Bairwa, and committee members.

In the meeting announcement was made regarding the directive from Assam Governor Gulabchand Kataria. The Governor emphasized the initiation of water sports at Goverdhan Sagar and the introduction of pedal boats at Dudh Talai.

In response, the committee swiftly decided to implement pedal boat services at Dudh Talai, with Deputy Mayor Singhvi urging Administrative Engineer Bairwa to take prompt action. 

Addressing concerns about the deteriorating state of open gyms in the municipal corporation area, committee members proposed tendering for their maintenance. Deputy Mayor Singhvi promptly instructed the initiation of tenders to ensure the upkeep of all gyms, promoting a healthier community.
