A one-of-a-kind children's sensory park is set to be established in Udaipur's Gulab Bagh, aimed at reducing screen time among young children. This initiative falls under the Urban 95 project and is projected to cost approximately Rs 83.383 lakh. Recently, an administrative committee gave initial approval for its construction.

Park's Primary Goal

The primary goal of this sensory park is to offer children up to five years old, along with their parents, an outdoor environment that promotes social interaction and learning through sensory activities. Children will engage their senses like feeling, smelling, seeing, hearing, and tasting various elements to foster understanding and enjoyment. This innovative park aims to curb the habit of excessive mobile phone and television use among children.

Parks Facilities

In addition to sensory pathways made of gravel, EPDM flooring, and other materials, the park will feature amenities such as a water pond with a fountain, sloping gardens, swings, and instruments producing different sounds. It will also showcase mounds adorned with colorful plants and various engaging play structures. Many of these features meet international standards and will be introduced for the first time in Udaipur. Moreover, the park will include facilities like a breastfeeding room, ensuring it caters to the needs of both children and their caregivers.
