UDA Removed Encroachments on Mali Colony's 100 feet Road
Inconvenience caused by the narrowed road...
Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) took action against encroachments on the main 100-feet road at Mali Colony, situated within its jurisdiction. The road had been plagued by illegal constructions such as tin sheds, hoardings, and cabins, erected by local businessmen, significantly reducing its width.
After getting numerous complaints from residents about the inconvenience caused by the narrowed road, UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain directed officials to take action. Under his guidance, a team led by Tehsildar initiated the process of removing illegal constructions and encroachments.
With the assistance of the Municipal Corporation, all illegal structures encroaching upon the road were dismantled. Furthermore, strict warnings were issued to shop owners, prohibiting any future encroachments onto the public space.
Residents and commuters have expressed relief and appreciation for the removal, hopeful that the initiative will alleviate congestion issues.
