Udaipur: Renovation work of Jagdish Temple will start from next week
Rs. 70 Lakh will be spend on the renovation work
In the year 2022, the renovation of Jagdish Temple was demanded. The much prophesied work of renovation will start from next week. The tourists Department earlier had handed over a letter of demand to the Assistant Commissioner of the Devasthan Department. In regards to this, the Devasthan Department wrote a letter to the Indian National Trust of Art Culture and Heritage requesting for the redemption of the temple.
The Archaeological Department on Friday 5 May, 2023, issued a work order for the renovation at Rs 70 lakh. The parts of the temple will be renovated such as the growing bushes at the peak of the temple will be removed as well as fixing of stones. Along with the kitchen, other areas of the temple will also be decorated. The responsibility of renovation has been given to Bordia & Associate Company.
