Udaipur, November 19, 2024 - A leopard attacked two sheep in the residential area of Rana village, Gogunda, causing panic among the locals. The leopard had entered a backyard enclosure of a house and preyed on two sheep, dragging one towards the mines. Upon receiving information from villager Jaitaram Gairi, other residents of the village rushed to the spot.

Locals reported that the leopard had previously also attacked sheep in the enclosure, killing half a dozen of the animals.

The villagers informed the police and Forest Department officials, urging the latter to install a trap to capture the animal.
