Udaipur, September 25, 2024 - A man’s body with his throat slit was found near Lalpura Naka on the Dhariyavad road in Dhamaniya village, Salumbar. Passersby, who spotted the blood-soaked body, immediately informed the police and a team, led by ASP Ashok Bitoliya, Deputy Hitesh Mehta and Station In-charge Harshraj Singh, rushed to the spot.

The incident took place today, September 25, 2024, in the Lasadiya police station area of Salumbar district. Station In-charge Singh identified the victim as Delaram Meena (30), a resident of Lasadiya, who worked as a labourer. His throat had been slit with a sharp weapon. The body bore multiple injury marks and three toes of the man’s foot had been severed.

The motive behind the murder is still not known. The police are investigating the matter, questioning suspects and using CCTV footage to trace the perpetrator of the crime.

After the incident, a large crowd gathered in the vicinity. Due to the tense situation, police forces from three stations have been deployed.
