More than 200 traffic challans per day in Udaipur

Traffic police over-alert. Break the rules and get punished
 
Rule breakers to be strictly fined.
Udaipur's traffic police has become over active and strict. Your break the rules and you pay the fine. No excuses. Traffic police is cutting 200 plus challan slips every day. This cearly states that this many number of people are not bothered about rules and are risking their own safety and that of others. 
As per information received from the traffic department, 500 challans were issued per day last week. As compared to the fines of 2018, year 2019 is ahead by almost 20,000 challans until now. Around 23,680 people were issued challans in 2018. 76,49,350 rupees have been collected as fine this year. 
The statistics goes: 22940 two-wheelers, 205 autos, 3798 bigger autos, 15911 4-wheelers, 20 mini buses, 288 buses, 226 truck and 51 tractors have been fined in 2019 as per data received from Udaipur transport department.
