Residents from Syphon area in north Udaipur shared pictures of 2 panthers doing the rounds behind residential areas on location.
The wild beast were found patrolling near the Tirupati Nagar residential area in the early morning hours today. Residents of the area took pictures of the panthers in two different locations.
One resident of the area saw the first panther from his terrace, when he was doing his routine morning bird feeding on his terrace. The panther was sittign on the boundary wall of plot nearby. He clicked some photos and shared them on social media. After a few minutes the animal disappeared. This is the second time in the last four months that panthers have been seen in the area.
A resident of Technocrat society had clicked pictures of a panther atop a small hill opposite Samta Nagar colony. The hillock where the panther was seen then was hardly 100 meters from the nearest house. Samta Nagar is in Bedla, which is nearly 2 kilometers from Syphon, and further away from the dense city area.
Residents of the area have developed a sense of uneasiness over the recurring appearance of panthers in the area.
