Udaipur, November 18, 2024: A complaint of inappropriate behaviour was filed against a doctor at the Bhupalpura police station on November 16. The doctor in question is from Kalpana Nursing Home, Udaipur.

Station Officer Mukesh Soni reported that a female patient of the Kalpana Nursing Home has filed a case against Dr Sunil Chugh. The complainant alleged inappropriate behaviour by the doctor during an examination. She said she had been undergoing treatment at the nursing home since August 20. In this period, she was advised to undergo a sonography during which, she alleged, she was handled inappropriately by Dr Chugh. It allegedly happened on two occasions but, she said, she mistook it to be a part of the examination process and so ignored it.

However, on November 16, when the incident recurred for the third time she told her husband. And the duo filed a complaint at Bhupalpura police station against the doctor.

The police are currently investigating the matter.
