News- परिवहन निगम की बसो में नही हैं साइड ग्लास, कम लगता है ब्रेक

परिवहन निगम की बसें काल बनकर दौड़ रही हैं। अधिकांश बसों में ब्रेक कम लगता है तो कुछ में साइड ग्लास ही नहीं है। इसका उदाहरण सोमवार को देखने को मिला। जब शाम को एक महिला कर्मचारी को निगम की बस ने रौंद दिया। मौके पर ही उसकी मौत हो गई। 

प्रतापगढ़ डिपो में परिवहन निगम की 53 बसे हैं। इनमें से अधिकांश खटारा हो चुकी हैं। बस लेकर सड़क पर निकलने में चालक डरते हैं। एक चालक ने नाम न प्रकाशित करने की शर्त पर बताया कि बीते चार माह पहले डिपो में वह बस का ब्रेक लगा रहा था। ब्रेक नहीं लगा, जिसके चलते बस दुर्घटना ग्रस्त हो गई थी। एक ने बताया कि वर्कशाप न होने के कारण बगैर मरम्मत बस को फोर मैन चालक को हैंडओवर कर दिया जाता है।

News- Pratapgarh police confiscate 33 quintals of Poppy Husk

In preparation for the upcoming assembly elections, police in Pratapgarh conducted a rigorous operation on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, resulting in the confiscation of a significant quantity of poppy husk weighing approximately 3,300 kilograms, equivalent to 33 quintals. This illicit haul of poppy husk is valued at nearly Rs 5 crore in the market. 

At a security checkpoint established in Dhamotar, police officials halted a truck and made a startling discovery. Concealed beneath layers of corn sacks within the vehicle, they stumbled upon a staggering 33 quintals of poppy husk.

The police's proactive action is part of their efforts to curb illegal activities in the lead-up to the assembly elections, ensuring the safety and integrity of the electoral process.
