Private school accused of taking high fees and misconduct

Allegedly the teachers misbehaved with the inspection team.

A private school has been accused of taking high fees from parents. The school also misbehaved with the inspection team who went there to clarify the issue.

As reported by the Senior Lecturers Om Prakash Sharma and Gayatri Ameta of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), they had received written complaints against Curious Kids School in Ashok Nagar regarding high and inappropriate fees charged. As per the complaint, the school was supposed to charge 19,200 rupees against fees till the month of November. But the school also took extra amount against tuition fees and charged 33,000 rupees from the parents.

When the DIET team went to the school with the written complaint and the list of queries, the school teachers did not cooperate in the inspection and misbehaved with the team. They told the inspection team to leave the school.

The school manager Abhay Jain informed that he was not present in the school when the DIET team reached for their inspection. He also said that the teachers did not behave inappropriately with the inspection team. He also said that none of the parents were forced to pay the entire fee amount.
