Protest against mobile tower in Hiranmagri
Mobile tower should not be installed in residential area.
Public in Hiranmagri Sector 7 is agitated as a mobile tower is coming up in Gupteshwar Nagar. Reportedly BSNL is putting up a mobile tower in this area.
Residents of the area have protested against mobile tower in residential area. They have even stood in opposition against the owner of the property who has rented out his land for the mobile tower. As per residents, environment department cannot give approval for a mobile tower in residential area as it emits radiation which is harmful for health. ADM has forwarded the matter to Municipal Corporation and BSNL. On the other hand, GM of BSNL has said that the mobile tower is being installed following all relevant standards.
