Rajasthan is set to develop 12 new bypass roads across nine cities. The state government has approved the planning and budget for these roads. The Public Works Department (PWD) will soon issue tenders to start the work.

The bypass roads are planned for Bharatpur, Sikar, Hanumangarh, Dholpur, Sawai Madhopur, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, and Sujangarh. These cities are growing quickly, making the new roads necessary to manage traffic.

Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari announced this project in the state budget. The state will spend Rs 5.95 crore to prepare the detailed plans for the roads.

Bharatpur, Jhunjhunu, and Dholpur will each get two bypass roads, while the other six cities will receive one each.
