Ranthambore Safari: Vehicles will no longer pick tourists from hotel

Jeep drivers demand fulfilled...

Significant changes are underway in the ongoing tourism season at Ranthambore. Tourists embarking on the wildlife safari in Ranthambore will no longer receive hotel pick-up and drop services. Instead, they are required to reach the specified boarding point designated by the department or the entry point of the forest department.

To streamline this process, the forest department has issued orders, which have been uploaded to the booking site for reference. This adjustment aims to enhance the efficiency and organization of tourism activities in the region. Visitors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these changes to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience during their Ranthambore wildlife safari.

Jeep drivers, in particular, argue that the previous practice of picking up tourists directly from hotels was time-consuming. This often resulted in tourists struggling to reach the designated park exploration zone within the specified timeframe. As per the information posted on the official site by the Forest Department, tourists are now allowed a 15-minute grace period beyond the scheduled time for park exploration. However, it is essential for tourists to communicate this delay to both the guide and the vehicle driver.

In case a tourist fails to reach the specified location even after notifying the guide and driver, the tourism vehicle may proceed with the park exploration along with other punctual tourists, leaving the latecomer behind. This policy aims to ensure the smooth functioning of park visits and timely departures for a better overall experience.
