RNT Medical College is set to become the second institution in the state offering a DM (Doctorate of Medicine) course in specialized fields such as Gastroenterology, Neurology, Nephrology, Urology, and Oncology. The decision to allocate these seats to RNT is influenced by the institution's commitment to providing superior treatment, excellent facilities, and advanced infrastructure.

Following approval, all available seats have been successfully occupied. Doctors from prominent cities in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and other states have opted for admission to this college over others. Over the three-year duration of the course, they will acquire a master's degree, enhancing their ability to deliver improved patient care. RNT will offer five seats in each subject for the DM program.

What is a DM course?

The DM course stands as a distinguished super-specialty postgraduate degree program crafted for medical professionals. RNT currently has an unfilled DM seat specifically in Plastic Surgery, attributed to a shortage of faculty. However, challenges persist, notably in the field of Plastic Surgery where faculty shortages impact seat availability.
