The extensive work on the 60-feet road connecting Ayad Pulia to Subhash Nagar is nearly finished, with only minor tasks remaining near Lakecity Mall. Once these final touches are completed, vehicles are anticipated to navigate swiftly along this route. Originally slated to commence this month, the opening of this route promises significant relief from the daily traffic problems plaguing the Ashok Nagar-Durga Nursery road.

Undertaken by the Udaipur Development Authority (UDA), the Subhash Nagar road project has already achieved connectivity from Lakecity Mall to Ayad Pulia. The pending work, confined to a small section in front of the mall, stands as the last hurdle before public use.

Upon its inauguration, commuters travelling from Ayad to Subhash Nagar, Sevashram, and BN College will no longer rely on the congested Durga Nursery Road and Kumharon ka Bhatta route. This shift is expected to alleviate traffic congestion significantly, offering fuel and time savings for commuters.

In addition to its functional benefits, the road will also have aesthetic enhancements. Colorful flower bells will be put along the wall facing Ayad River. The road's spacious median will host a park along the riverbank, complete with benches for visitors to enjoy the serene ambiance. Moreover, vacant spaces along the road will be adorned with lush plantations, further enhancing its visual appeal.
