BREAKING - Udaipur RPSC Paper Leak Mastermind apprehended at Bengaluru

A team from ATS and SOG Rajasthan apprehended Bhupendra Saran from Bendaluru Airport on 23 February

 

A team from the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Special Operations Group (SOG) Rajasthan, have apprehended the chief conspirator in the RPSC 2022 Udaipur Paper Leak case. Bhupendra Saran, the main accused (mastermind) in the paper leak case was picked up from Bengaluru Airport on 23 February.

The ATS and SOG teams were receiving continuous intelligence reports from Dharmendra Singh Yadav, Superintendent of Police, Jodhpur Rural and his team, following which the teams had camped at Bengaluru for the last 6 days and collecting information on the movements of the accused.  After a week of efforts, the team got confirmed reports towards the afternoon on 23 February, following which a trap was laid at Bengaluru Airport and Bhupendra Saran was picked up from the airport. Since Bhupendra Saran is Wanted by the Udaipur Police, a team from Udaipur Police was also included in the operation before the accused was apprehended. Bhupendra has been handed over to the Udaipur Police for interrogation.

The team from ATS and SOG included Inspector Mohan Poswal, Sub Inspector Brijesh Singh, Head Constable Sachin Bhardwaj and Constable Mahaveer Singh.The team from Jodhpur Rural Police who were providing the intelligence included Sub Inspector Lakharam, Assistant Sub Inspector Devaram, Constable Bhavani Chaudhary.  The back end team responsible for the research and analysis were supported by Additional Superintendent of Police Hariprasad Somani and Deputy Superintendent of Police Manish Sharma from the Anti Terrorism Squad. Personnel from the CISF Bengaluru Airport played a significant role in completing this operation. Jose Mohan, the Inspector General of CISF, MHA is a Rajasthan Cadre IPS Officer and was the IG Rajasthan Police, before being given the charge of CISF in January 2022.

Bhupendra Saran has been handed over to the Udaipur Police team, which included Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kotda, Udaipur, Rajesh Kasana; Head Constable Manmohan Singh, Head Constable Vikram Singh and Constable Upendra Singh.
