The Forest Department at Sajjangarh has taken measures to alleviate overcrowding issues during sightseeing. To address this, they have shifted the ticket counter from the entry gate to the parking area. Recognizing the challenges posed by traffic jams, a gate has been opened behind the parking area, with barricades set up approximately 200 meters away from the original entry gate.

This adjustment aims to enhance the overall experience for visitors and streamline the entry process. During weekends, the presence of traffic jams had previously led numerous tourists to reconsider their plans and turn back. Conversely, there has been a notable surge in the overall tourist influx. When comparing October and November, both the number of visitors and revenue exhibited growth. Visitors can now easily park their vehicles, buy tickets and seamlessly proceed to explore the fort without the previous inconveniences.

In October, the tourist count stood at 41,000, and this figure experienced an uptick to 57,000 in November. Likewise, the earnings for October amounted to Rs 84 lakh witnessing an increase to Rs 1 crore 14 lakh in November. This upward trend in both tourist numbers and revenue signifies a positive shift, potentially attributed to improved accessibility or heightened interest in the destination during the latter month. Vinod Tanwar, the Regional Forest Officer overseeing the tourism range, has asserted that the alleviation of traffic jams at the entry gate has resulted in a rise in the number of tourists.

Notably, the Forest Department introduced the initial tourism range in Sajjangarh Sanctuary in September, 2023. Following this, they enhanced the number of these ranges from 2 to 4 by strategically relocating ticket counters from Sajjangarh to Sanctuary and the Biological Park.
