Udaipur, November 27, 2024 - The Rajasthan government has introduced a state-level uniform examination system for schools. Half-yearly exams under this system will be held for the first time from December 12 to December 27, 2024. Due to this, winter vacations are likely to start after December 27, instead of the usual December 25.

Examination Schedule

Director Ashish Modi issued orders regarding the exams on Tuesday, November 26,2024. The exams will be conducted in two phases:

1. December 12 to 16: School-level exams like health education, moral education, social service, and practical subjects.

2. December 17 onwards: Regular subject exams will take place.

Classes Covered

The uniform examination system will be applicable for classes 9 to 12 during the half-yearly exams. However:

• For annual exams, it will apply only to classes 9 and 11.

• Classes 10 and 12 will continue with board-conducted exams.

Security of Question Papers

Question papers will be distributed to each district three days before the exams begin. They will be stored in police stations or PEEO schools, as decided by the District Education Officer (DEO). The DEO will also be responsible for the security of the question papers.
