In a significant development for Udaipur residents, construction is set to commence this month on a 60-feet road connecting Sevashram to Ayad Bridge, near Lakecity Mall. The initiative aims to streamline travel, eliminating the need for detours through Thoker Chouraha or the Kumharon Ka Bhatta-Durga Nursery route when commuting from Sevashram Circle to Ayad Bridge.

The upcoming road will traverse Subhash Nagar and seamlessly lead to Lakecity Mall. MLA Tarachand Jain has been briefed comprehensively on the project, and construction has already begun to connect the road from Lakecity Mall to Subhash Nagar, with plans for it to be operational within the month.

Concerned about safety, MLA Jain has directed officials to construct a protective wall along the Ayad River. To enhance aesthetics, a vibrant display of flowering vines will adorn the wall. Additionally, spacious areas along the riverbank will be transformed into parks with comfortable seating arrangements, contributing to the overall charm.

Officials have assured that the construction will include greenery on both sides of the road, promoting a visually appealing and eco-friendly atmosphere. This new infrastructure is anticipated to alleviate traffic on the Durga Nursery Road significantly.

It is important to note that District Collector Arvind Poswal, facilitated the road construction by approving land acquisitions from multiple landowners.
