Good news for electricity consumers in 17 districts under Ajmer Discom! Now, consumers will receive their electricity bill on the spot along with the meter reading. Ajmer Discom has introduced spot billing as a pilot project.

In the first phase, this initiative began on Friday, November 8,2024 in the rural areas of Kishangarh in Ajmer district. Around 32,000 consumers are now receiving their October bill on the spot along with the meter reading.

Discom employees have been trained for this new process. If the pilot is successful, the scheme will be extended to all 17 districts associated with Ajmer Discom, including Udaipur, by January. Jodhpur Discom is also implementing a similar scheme.

Discom MD KP Verma stated that after Jaipur, Ajmer and Jodhpur were selected for spot billing. He added that this new process will allow consumers to get their bills on the spot. The scheme is planned to be implemented in all 17 districts by January.
