The Bank however replaced the entire cash that was destroyed in the locker and handed over the money to the account holder.

Money is now no longer safe even in a bank locker. A man from Udaipur nearly lost Rs. 2.50 lakh in cash after termites destroyed the currency notes kept in his bank locker at the Punjab National Bank, Kala Ji Gora Ji branch in Udaipur.
