On June 10,2024, Udaipur Municipal Corporation took action by sealing three shops at the bottleneck on Court Chauraha-Chetak Road. These shops, adjacent to the wall of RNT Medical College, were constructed illegally and did not have commercial approval.

The Three Shops

Continuous action is being taken by the municipal corporation against encroachments and illegal constructions under the direction of Commissioner Ram Prakash. The corporation's team sealed Chetna Florist, Moon Florist, and Hari Om Medical Store operating there.

Earlier Notices

Earlier, the corporation had issued notices to the shop owners for not having construction and commercial approvals. The three shop owners went to court against the notices but did not receive any relief.

A team led by CI Mangilal Dangi, along with Revenue Inspectors Rahul Meena and Vijay Jain, reached the site and sealed the three shops. The corporation has asked the shop owners for documents related to construction and commercial approvals. If the documents are not provided within the stipulated period, the corporation will take further action.
