Udaipur Collector chairs District Cooperative Development Committee Meeting
Emphasizes on regular database updates
On Friday, July 21, 2023, the District Cooperative Development Committee (DCDC) meeting took place in Udaipur, Rajasthan, under the chairmanship of the newly appointed District Collector, Arvind Poswal. During the meeting, Collector Poswal emphasized the importance of timely updates to the National Cooperative Database. Deputy Registrar Jaidev Deval reported that approximately 90 percent of the committees in the district have already been updated on the National NCB portal.
During the meeting, it was informed that the database of the remaining committees will be updated soon. The attendees at the meeting included Alok Chaudhary, the Managing Director of Central Cooperative Bank, Natwar Singh, the Managing Director of the Dairy, KL Sharma, Senior Manager at Central Cooperative Bank, Vaibhav Gaur, Manager at Central Cooperative Bank, and Neeraj Yadav, the NABARD District Development Manager.
During the meeting, Collector Poswal discussed the district plan for establishing new packs, dairy, and fisheries cooperatives. He also emphasized the need to coordinate with the fisheries department to ensure the timely registration of new fisheries cooperatives. In addition, it was decided to direct the revenue department regarding the land allotment process for the newly approved packs in the district.
The Deputy Registrar informed the collector that a total of 34 committees in the district have already initiated custom hiring centers. To further expand this initiative and establish more societies as custom hiring centers, the relevant management will be directed to the Central Cooperative Bank.
