The PM Muft Bijli Yojana includes the registration and survey conducted by electricity board employees who will visit each household. On Sunday, February 18, 2024 directives were issued by the Ajmer DISCOM regarding this initiative. 

Information regarding the mobile app and portal, launched by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), is being spread among the board employees.  DISCOM has provided instructions for preparations in all districts. Engineers have been specifically instructed on the process of downloading the required mobile app for data collection during the survey. 

Instructions Given

• Encourage maximum sign-ups by offering comprehensive details about the subsidy, reaching up to Rs 78,000, accessible to consumers within the program.

• In the scheme, subsidy ranging from Rs 30,000 to 60,000 for 1 to 2 kilowatts and subsidy of Rs 78,000 for 2 to 3 kilowatts will be directly credited to the consumer's account. 

• You can apply for the PM Solar Home Scheme online at pmsuryaghar.gov.in.
